You guys wanna know what the good news is? No matter who becomes president for the next 4-8 years, our new EP FOUNDATIONS will be available. Hang your head on that, guys. It's gonna be okay. And if you haven't even heard it yet, please check it out. Waddle your way to itunes, spotify, amazon, or whatever floats your boat. Love, WTD
So my team (THE BRONCOS) are going to the super bowl for the 8th time!!! Chad's Packers suck and King's Vikings suck and Mike's San Jose Sharks probably couldn't care less. IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE ME! Also, It's my birthday! So rub it in to chad, king, and mike, they deserve it for being sucky losers. LOVE ALWAYS, NATE ROCKWELL AND BRONCOS COUNTRY. PS it's also Chad's anniversary. Yes, my best friend decided to steal my thunder and get married on my birthday, but it's okay because at least now he won't forget my birthday and I won't forget his anniversary.
Hey guys! We're thankful for all the positive feedback and appreciation for our new EP "Foundations"! If you haven't heard it yet, it is available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc. All proceeds are gonna go towards a full length record that will more-than-likely feature album artwork with Chad riding an elephant wearing a slick vest. Something we can all look forward to. Have a great Thanksgiving with friends and family!!!
ENJOY THE NEW MUSIC EVERYBODY EVERWHERE! Cruise over to iTunes, Amazon, ect. and pick up the new jams!!!! http://itunes.apple.com/album/id1057752407?ls=1&app=itunes
So instead of dragging this out any further, we're just gonna release this bad jackson on NOVEMBER 24TH. No pre-order (because we suck at this) and no shenanigans. NEW JAMS WILL BE AVAILABLE NOVEMBER 24TH ON ITUNES. We will attempt to make a very limited amount of physical copies of the Foundations EP soon because the artwork is rad (thanks Tianna) and our moms would want them. More on that to come, but for now, TWO WEEKS until you all can enjoy something new. So get jazzed people!
Hey guys! Just wanted to say thanks for hangin' in there so long. It's taken entirely too long to put out some new jams, but we finally have a little something to show you. Quick life update: Chad and Rachel and sweet baby Jase moved to Utah. Mike and Tianna are getting married in September and have recently bought a house in the cities. King and Kelly are moving to Arizona in September, helping out our best buds megamike and heidi continue Eikon Guitars. And Dani and I (Nate) just bought a house up in St. Cloud. Needless to say, we've been growing up. Finding the time and funds have been difficult, and balancing dreams with responsibilities is a formula we're still trying to figure out. We wrote the Foundations EP during the ups and downs of the past two years, and we really hope you enjoy them. We're gonna put a pre-order up soon, but in the meantime take a listen to the title track "Foundations". All the best, Nate, Mike, Chad, and King
Hey guys, Chad here. Sorry for the lack of updates. Life's been happening strong over here. The EP is done along with the artwork and all the other good stuff. We're in the process of figuring out a release date which should be very soon. On a different note, my 8 month old son is just about walking which is super exciting and Mike is getting married in September and Nate is enjoying being a newlywed. We love all you guys and appreciate your patience as we're entering the next chapters of our lives. Music and Write This Down continues to be a passion and we can't wait for you guys to hear the new stuff. <3 Chad & WTD
Hey guys, Nate here (the handsome one), and I just wanted to jump on here and try my best to update you as to what's been going on, as well as what's about to happen in the not-too-distant future of Write This Down. We've been doing this for quite some time now, just about nine years, and about two years ago we kinda sorta hit a metaphorical wall, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Myself, Johnny, Chad, Mike, and King were road burned pretty bad, and it started to show in our lives and in our relationships with each other. I can't remember the exact moment, but I can still feel the heaviness of knowing that Johnny was leaving the band, and life as I knew it was going to change, before it ever happened. John Harry Collier was a skinny, emo kid at the end of the hall of our dorm floor that I initially wanted nothing to do with. I think it was because of the black finger nail polish (which i won't ever let him live down) or the fact that he was super skinny and I was well past my freshman fifteen at that point. Either way, I never thought in a million years that he would become one of my best friends and an integral part of what Write This Down is. Little known fact: Johnny started out as a merch guy that just wanted to help us out and gradually got a shot at being the screamer/frontman of a pretty rad band. Swear to God he didn't even know how to scream. He wanted this gig so bad he sat in his super old Toyota corolla and screamed his lungs out for a month or two until one day he just told me he "figured it out". We we're pretty inseperable as best friends and song writers after that. We wrote two full length records together, along with a spaced-themed side project called TIGBA (This is Gonna Be Awesome) and a gazillion other songs. So I find it very difficult to even come to terms with the very real fact that Johnny has moved back to Florida and hung his hat. As I'm sure you'll all agree, it will never be the same, and as Write This Down's frontman, he's irreplaceable. At this point, I'm sure you're all asking, "What's next?". Lemme tell ya, we're all at different places right now. Brief synopsis: I am marrying the love of my life at the end of August and work full time with Mike at an auto shop downtown. Chad married the love of his life this past January (on my birthday, no less. Chad's always stealin' my thunder) and are expecting a baby boy this fall. They live in Wisconsin and Chad works at his dad's auto shop. Mike just bought a house a few days ago, and he teaches me everything about the automotive world, currently lives with the love of his life, Tianna, and his best friend Mike (two mikes). King, hmmmmm, well King is being King right now (bass player). It's hard to explain King, but he's doing great. So In a nutshell, we've all learned how to be ourselves off the road, and you should be able to tell in this new ep. It's so different, really, but still classic Write This Down. We meet on random weekends and create new jams and it still feels like it did nine years ago, when we stumbled upon something really great. With all that said the new record is going to be a 5 song E.P to get the ball rolling and hopefully a full length to shortly follow. We're going to try our best to play shows again (make sure to come to Lifefest this summer if you're in the area) and we truly hope you enjoy the new sound. Nate and WTD

Stay tuned for updates, there's going to be a pre-order and all that good stuff and hopefully we can have copies ready for the Lifest show! Feels good to get the ball rolling again, we miss you guys and appreciate you all being so patient with us!! Love you all, Chad and WTD
