Orlando Weeks is proud to present a run of very intimate performances in the UK this September to mark the start of a new project. Weeks will be performing new solo material, which will be released as an album next year. The tour marks the first time Orlando will perform these songs live with a band. The shows are an opportunity to hear this new music first, live and in an intimate setting exclusively, ahead of any recorded music being released. Orlando has said: “The album I’ve been working on for the last eighteen months is very nearly done. For me, holding my nerve has been a large part of finishing a record, and there’s a certain confidence that comes from discovering a song can survive in a room full of strangers. The flip side of that is that you unearth problems you wish had stayed buried. There’s every chance it won’t work, but that’s the gamble.” Tickets go on-sale this Friday, August 2nd at 9am local time.
Orlando Weeks is pleased to be able to announce the full line-up for his December live performances of The Gritterman. Last year his composition combined tape delays and the Chapel's organ to make a beautiful cacophony. The Gritterman concert dates are: December 10th – London, Union Chapel December 11th – London, Union Chapel December 12th – Manchester, Albert Hall Tickets available here: https://bit.ly/2xxeH55

Hi all, Jake here from the bands merch department. Firstly, thank you to those that managed to come to the final shows. Due to extremely high demand, the majority of our merch sold out quicker than we expected and we’ve had a lot of people ask if any of the products will be available online. We have decided to run a post show pre order. For anyone that missed out on getting the tour T-shirts or couldn't make the shows, the below designs will be available for order until 5pm 12th July. We also have a limited amount of complete retrospective tour programmes, put together by Felix, and Sam Doyle's photography book 'Marks' on sale. As with the tour, if you spend £50 or more you'll receive a free programme. They will all be available on a first come first served basis.
To coincide with The Maccabees farewell UK tour this summer, Sam presents a collection of his 35mm photographs taken from 2012-2017 documenting the writing, recording, and touring of the band's final album Marks To Prove It. The collection has been hand picked from Sam’s forthcoming candid photobook of that time, entitled Marks. Also on display is a 15-minute digital film, documenting the recording process of the same album, filmed and edited by Sam at the band’s recording studio in Elephant & Castle. The book, and all framed prints on display are available to buy, with additional prints available on request. Profits from sales on 16th June will go to the MS society.
