It's #WearOrange day and I sadly don't have any orange clothes in my suitcase, but I fully believe in the work Everytown for Gun Safety is doing to end gun violence. I wrote this song in the aftermath of the Pulse Nightclub shooting on June 12, 2016 and unfortunately the overwhelming sadness and disbelief this senseless act of violence brought about has occurred many times since then as gun violence continues to plague our country.
