For those interested in Hollywood history, 60 years ago today on the 12th of June, in 1959, Peggy Lee was signing a deal to write a song for the 1960 film “The Time Machine.” That song, “The Land of the Leal,” was ultimately cut from the film. Interestingly enough, the song’s lyrics, penned by Peggy Lee, are written into the screenplay – check it out here! (h/t to the #HollywoodHistory #Script #Screenplay #ForEducationalPurposes
