Happy International Women's Day! I'm gonna be real here and just say, to all the women out there that I have judged before: I am sorry. Sorry for judging your body, for thinking it's too thin or too fat or too unattainably perfect. I am sorry for judging you on your clothes, your skin, your boobs, your relationship, your life choices, your career, your make up, your partner, your eating habits, your role as a mother, your confidence, your timidity, your decision to stay in a bad relationship, your fear, your brazenness. It's only because I have been taught to compare myself to you. And think that I am less than you. Being a woman is hard, and you don't need my judgement to add to that weight. Because women are actually the ones that lift me up and make me laugh and comfort me when I'm not ok. I love women. I love being a woman. And I can't wait to be in a world that doesn't judge women. A world where women are not only equal to men, but equal to each other. 🌟

Nearly 3 years ago we were trying to make a video for Wiithout You'. We had a small budget, and me and anthony were running around american apparel the day before the shoot, trying to find matching colour clothes so the producer could paint the back walls. This little pink number was the best $25 I ever spent. Still getting use out of it!
Today marks 4 years since we released 'Body Gold' and started this band. We had a slightly different name and no plans to tour, as you can see from this email we wrote (which is from the journal on our store if you want to read more). Anyway we were so hyped to get 500 plays in 5 hours and now we have god knows how many plays and lots of shiny discs and an insane community of ow fans and a song we wrote that has just sold 1 million copies in the US and we have just had the best four years of our life. Nothing really make sense anymore. But the moral of the story: never EVER give up on yourself and your dreams. And share your song/art/idea that you think is a bit weird because you never know what could happen 💛
As we approach the end of the Ultralife tour, we took a moment yesterday to reflect on how lucky we are to travel around the world and have these intensely fierce moments of connection with people through our music. It feels so unreal and yet so real. Thank you for letting us live out a dream we couldn't even imagine 🌅
