Rediscover Hélène Grimaud's Bach... Her Bach album was released almost exactly 10 years ago. "To hear her in the C sharp minor Prelude of Book 1 of the "Well-Tempered Clavier" ('WTC 1') is to leave one in no doubt that she is a Bachian of the first order." - Julian Haylock, International Record Review (London) on December 1st, 2008. In Hélène's words: "For me as for many other musicians and composers, Bach is the Bible, and has been so ever since I began playing him as a child - playing him each day was the foundation for everything else. And this is a Bible with an infinity of interpretations, through which you can renew your relationship to music, to yourself and to the world."
