Australian born guitarist Craig Ogden is one of the world’s finest classical guitarists, with a laid back, effortless, naturally brilliant approach to playing guitar.
Craig Ogden studied guitar from the age of seven and percussion from the age of thirteen and in 2004 he was honoured by the Royal Northern College of Music with a Fellowship in recognition of his achievements. Just a reminder to all you wonderful Salisbury/Wiltshire based people that Craig's recital at the stunning Salisbury Cathedral is this evening. It will be a lovely evening and it's for a great cause raising funds for restoration of the organ. There's a drinks reception after the concert too with an opportunity to meet Craig. There's Craig's concert with Manchester Camerata on Friday 25 Jan and lots of other concerts/classes etc plus there's a fab opportunity on Sunday 27 Jan for guitarists of all ages, grades 1 - 8 to join in a combined piece and perform on the Bridgewater Hall stage!

25 - 27 January 2019!
This will be Craig's fifth Guitar Weekend at Bridgewater - Craig launches the weekend with his friends Manchester Camerata in a stunning programme of solo, chamber and orchestral works, many of which have been recorded by Craig for Classic FM.
Across the three days of the weekend, there will be workshops, events including performance by rising star Sean Shibe, Classical Guitarist, free foyer events, guitar marketplace and a the biggest gathering of amateur guitarists on stage performing with the Aquarelle Guitar Quartet, conducted by Craig.
