Honored to work with so many great local artists on this song and video based on a Paul Wellstone quote. Check it out and make it a priority to vote in the midterms.

Tornadoes in September: Our outdoor concert yesterday was blasted by crazy weather and ended up being canceled. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the double rainbow afterward was one of the brightest we've seen. See you next week in Eau Claire (indoors).

Please consider taking part in a new research project on courage and Cloud Cult fans led by Professor Grace Yukich, a cultural sociologist who teaches at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. The project, “Courage in Unsettled Times,” asks: What are you afraid of? What makes you feel courageous? The project is looking for Cloud Cult fans to share their reflections about fear and courage in a survey. The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and is confidential. For more information, contact Prof. Yukich at [email protected] Here is the link to the survey:

Thanks to all who came out to the sold out Reimagine show in San Francisco last night. The stories shared on stage were inspiring and the overall intention of the project is something that is desperately needed in our culture. Special thanks to Dawn Gross for getting us out there. Check out her NPR program Dying to Talk . (photo by Plockwood)

There's a blizzard headed to Minneapolis with up to 10" of snow. But that won't stop us from getting to San Francisco for Monday night's Reimagine Show at the Jazz Center (hopefully). We'll be bringing our "Live Life Like You Mean It" art installation.

In this wild, moving, hectic, wonderful thing we call life... We just want to take a moment to acknowledge some people who helped make this weekend possible. We appreciate our friends old and new who volunteered to help, or who accepted that last minute call for assistance, or who came out of the woodwork to support us. This last weekend was pretty epic for us, and we are still trying to digest it all. So many amazing and talented people came together to make these two Orchestra Hall shows happen. Thank you to our top-notch band members... Shawn Neary, Shannon Frid Rubin, Daniel Zamzow, Sarah Jane Perbix, Jeremy Harvey, and Scott West, and to our fabulous sound crew, Jeff D Johnson and Brian Joseph. Thank you to Ryan Seitz, who designed some stellar merch. Thank you to the kid whisperers, Christine, Joy, and Melody. We are forever grateful for your help! Thank you to Morgan and Melissa Philippi, and Margit Anderson and Grace for your superstar volunteerism. A gigantic thank you goes out to the Minnesota Orchestra, Sarah Hicks, Andy Thompson, and Grant Meachum, along with many others at Orchestra Hall who made everything truly incredible, and who helped us create a show like no other. We feel pretty lucky tonight. Thank you again, beautiful people! We love you all! Photography by Scott Streble
